Cherry Purple is a band from the suburbs of Chicago, formed in 2021 by Carolina Dezó (Vocals), Logan Brinkerhoff (Guitar), Tommy Glaviano (Bass) and Josh Wolf (Drums). Logan and Carolina started by producing and writing together in 2017 - playing original songs in bars and venues as an acoustic duo. In 2021, they met Josh and the three of them started Cherry Purple. The Bassist, Tommy, joined the band recently, after performing at a few shows as a guest. Among the musical influences Cherry Purple brings to their sound are Cage the Elephant, Arctic Monkeys, Alexandra Savior, Rita Lee, Serge Gainsburg, Françoise Hardy, Marisa Monte, Louise Verneuil and others. Although at the moment they consider themselves an alternative indie band, for their next projects they intend to explore and mix other genres, as well as the artists they mirror themselves in. With the major objective of transmitting their sound authentically and hoping that the public identify with the messages conveyed in their songs, Cherry Purple has many plans for 2023: new releases, music videos, concerts inside and outside Brazil, and much more.
